In the books of Asturian mansions already appears this house of the nineteenth century called C’Antonia, an old inn in the middle of the road to San Salvador. Its two sculpted coats of arms bring us to times when the best recognitions were not valued with stars in the net, but with shields engraved on the rock itself. La Romía Riba (from Arriba) is located just a few minutes from the Pajares Ski Resort, and 15 minutes from Pola de Lena. This small town marks the Camino a Santiago by San Salvador, and is a regular tour every year by pilgrims, where drinking from its source or admiring all the majestic mountain landscape are just one of the benefits of this town, easily accessible by an asphalt ramp, deviant from the national road itself.

This special house is completely rehabilitated, and its roof has been restored for enviable conservation. After a stone arch we enter its front whims, furnished and oriented to the south to enjoy each ray of the Sun. Its stone oven tells great stories of meeting and enjoyment, and also has another grill to the delight of grill lovers. Before entering the house, we can count on a construction for tool and workshop, where the diesel boiler is located, programmable remotely from the mobile phone. In addition, we have in the same workshop a wood stove to work comfortably. Behind it, we have an orchard with greenhouse and a solidly built chicken coop.

All these external spaces complete a house with great comfort inside. After passing the entrance arch with double door (wooden and iron gate), we enter a living room with pool table and open kitchen fully equipped with appliances. The protagonism of the stone is accompanied by the ideal orientation of this room, receiving each ray of Sun and illuminating each space. A small living room used as a musical room in front of the staircase, under which we have a full bathroom. Going upstairs, we have two bedrooms, one of them en suite, and tastefully decorated.

There is a closed parking space with the roof rehabilitated, and another room where furniture is rehabilitated behind the house, equipped with another wood stove. In front, in the same village, we have two blocks, and behind it, a large plot that reaches the top of the mountain, ideal for planting fruit trees and perhaps thinking about beekeeping projects and completing a totally sustainable and ecological project.
