2.Benalmádena Costa - the newest part of the city, located along the coast and directly adjacent to the sea. A significant part of its buildings are tourist facilities (hotels, restaurants, discos and the beach).
3. Arroyo de la Miel (’Honey Stream’) - originally a separate settlement, located between the other two districts. It is the main residential area and the most commercially active.

COLUMBA’S FAIRY-TALE CASTLE
Colomares Castle is not really a castle, but a monument to Columbus. Nevertheless, it is beautiful and is one of the major attractions in Benalmadena. It was designed and built by Esteban Marin Martin. Its construction lasted from 1987 to 1994. An interesting fact is that in the castle there is the smallest church in the world, entered in the Guinness Book of Records. Its area is only 1.96 m2.
STUP
A living monument to the enlightened mind, a Buddhist monument to peace and harmony in the world and a place to study, reflect and meditate. A very interesting place, also due to the fact that it is the largest Stupa in Europe. Few people also know that it was designed by the Polish architect Wojciech Kossowski. An additional attraction is the beautiful panorama stretching from the hill.
BENALMADEN PORT
Puerto Marina is a good place for a family walk or dinner with wine. You can admire moored ships and interesting architecture here. The port is full of bars, shops and cafes. This place was twice hailed as the most beautiful port in the world. It has also been called the ’Andalusian Venice’, due to its streets, narrow canals and bridges. One of the attractions you can count on here is the aquarium. In Sea Life, you will find over 2,000 species of sea creatures, including: turtles, sharks and stingrays.
TIVOLI WORLD
An ideal option to spend time for both children and adults. Among the fountains and gardens, you can enjoy not only more than 30 attractions for the whole family, but also a rich gastronomic offer. It’s an old-fashioned amusement park with classic rides like Ferris Wheels, Bumper Cars and the Mansion of Terror, as well as new offerings for the more adventurous. The tower, from which you can experience a stunning fall from a height of 60 meters, is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular attractions in the park.
TEREFERICO BENALMADENA - QUEUE
Teleférico Benalmádena is a cable car that will give you a bird’s eye view of the whole city. The three-kilometer route leads to the peak of Calamorro in the Sierra de Mijas mountain range. Upon arrival, we can admire the beautiful panorama of the Costa del Sol, nearby Gibraltar, and in good weather, also the coast of Africa. In addition to the magnificent landscapes at the top of Calomorro, there are several other optional attractions waiting for us, such as: bird of prey shows, Andalusian horse training shows, trekking trails and bicycle trails.
