Pulpí Geode:
In addition to its spectacular beaches and coves, it stands out as a true natural gem that has been transformed into a tourism engine since opening to the public in 2019: Geode. Located in Mina Rica, in Pilar de Jaravía, it is a gigantic geode about eight meters long and two meters high. It is the second largest in the world after the Crystal Cave of Chihuahua in Mexico and the largest geode that can be visited.

Also worth visiting is the Scenic Space with the Pintor Pedro Antonio Martínez’ hall, which houses a collection of paintings by the influential painter Pulpileño, and the Black Room’, the largest of its kind in Europe, which houses a spectacular collection of 1,000 luminescent minerals.

Almería also boasts a catalog of spectacular beaches and coves. 13 beaches in Pulpí, running along the coastline from north to south: Los Cocedores beach, Las Palmeras beach, La Carolina beach, Invencible bay, Costa Tranquila bay, Cuartel bay, Tía Antonia bay , Rincón de los Nudos bay, Mar Rabiosa beach, Mar Serena beach, Calypso beach, La Entrevista beach and Los Nardos beach. Four of the five beaches further south are those that have a blue flag due to the quality of services and the water, which on the other hand is crystal clear and all very good.
