The most outstanding building in the historical case is the church of San Pedro Apóstol, in the upper part of the city, just before the path leading to the castle.

Although there are few remains of Polop Castle, you must visit its ruins, located on the top of the hill on which the old town is located. If we talk about hiking trails in Polop, there is one route that stands out from the rest: climbing Mount Ponotx known as the Sleeping Lion’. A large limestone mass with vertical walls that rises to a height of 1,183 meters.
