Els Poblets has its roots in three small farms, known as ’Els Llocs’, which were the nucleus of the urban centres of Setla, Mirarosa and Miraflor, now united in one small town.

This small municipality of Arab origin is proud of its location on the Mediterranean coast and its very charming landscape, as well as the large number of traces full of history.

The suggestive landscape of Els Poblets has a lot to do with the proximity of the Girona river, which facilitated the development of agriculture, and this in turn changed the land and the way it was inhabited, through rural roads and an urban centre that still preserves farmhouses, oil mills and much more. There, we recommend visiting the church of Sant Josep and Parroquia del Salvador, the latter with an altar that deserves attention.

Not to be missed is the watchtower located in Mirarrosa, built between the 15th and 16th centuries, an example of Renaissance military architecture that has been integrated into the urban landscape.

The beautiful Almadrava beach is a quiet place where you can enjoy the waters of our sea for about 1000 metres and try out the fishing equipment that has been used in its waters for centuries.
