It can also be reached by the national road that runs along the entire Mar Menor coast from San Pedro del Pinatar to Cabo de Palos, with Los Nietos halfway along the coast.

Beaches with warm waters, ideal for adults and children, with quiet and calm bathing. Los Nietos has all the amenities of a beach with showers, lifeguards, disabled access and a beautiful promenade that runs along the coast of the village.

Los Nietos has a small hill 40 metres high from where you can enjoy fantastic views of the entire Mar Menor, which is called Monte Mingote and is of volcanic origin.

The festivities in Los Nietos take place in September, between 21 and 29, which is the main day, SanMiguel Day, although the patron saint of this fishing and tourist village is Our Lady of the Angels, celebrated on 2 August, a month when the village is full of residents and tourists who come to spend their holidays. It is very much a family-run summer resort.
