The beach is ideal for a family holiday: it is very easy to get to - both by car and by bus - there is parking available, as well as numerous showers and toilets. An additional advantage of the beach is the constant care of lifeguards in the season from June 15 to September 15, and two restaurants.

Another famous beach in this seaside town is Cala Baladrar. The picturesque bay offers unearthly views of Calpe and Peñon de Ilfach, while being easily accessible. The water is calm as the beach is sheltered from strong winds. Cala Baladrar is known for its shallow waters and rich marine fauna, so it will be an ideal place for diving enthusiasts. It is a small Mediterranean paradise - in season there is a beach bar where you can dine, drink a cocktail and listen to live music.
